Is it an "ad hominem" attack to point out instances where skeptics are scientifically illiterate?

I consider people such as yourself scientifically and politically ignorant. When you won't admit to what you don't know, that is the essence of our debate regarding the current state of climate science. Trying to exaggerate knowledge of science to push politics isn't ignorance. It is something else . I wouldn't use the word illiterate since you can obviously read and you obviously know a lot about science. Is that an ad hominem attack?
