I burnt my hand at a party and now it hurts?

okay, so this gonna sound a little stupid, but its the honest truth. i was at a party this night with a couple friends (im 13) and we were making smores. so...heres the stupid part...i was making my marshmallow and i liked them burnt so i made it catch on fire. while it was still aflame, it fell of my stick cuz like marshmallows get all mushy then, and it fell on the back of my hand while it was still on fire. i got it off after like 3 seconds, but the hot mushy part was harder to get off and it stayed on for while. i put my hand in cold water immediatly but after it still hurt. i got home and it still hurts. its not that bad, its like a line of red splotches, i dont have any blisters or peeling but it still hurts. i didn't want to tell my mom because she might get mad at me or freak out or not let me go to parties anymore, so advice please, what should i do?
