What is the best home made marshmallow to make?

I need a marshmallow that will be firm and hold its shape. I am making cupcakes in some ice cream cones and I want to put marshmallow on top. I will also be dying some of them different colors as well. :) It's to sell at a fair for some fund-raising stuff. I want them to turn out well. Any recipe suggestions? Thanks. :D
