Best budget headphones? Piiq Exhale vs. JVC Marshmallow?

I've owned both of them before, but I had the older version of the JVC marshmallows, but the cord ripped and then I got some Piiq Exhales by Sony. Both pairs were amazing, but my Piiqs just died out after about 11 months. I was wondering if the new version of the Marshmallows are better than the Piiq Exhales or if you guys know of good quality headphones under $25
